Groundhog’s day is just around the corner and tomorrow my kiddos and I are going to enjoy making these Groundhog Day Craft cuties:

One thing I love about Groundhogs day is that it is perfect for integration!! We will start tomorrow by reading a Groundhog’s book and discussing Groundhogs Day.
Then we will make and chart our predications (Hello math integration-how I love thee!!). I will use this chart that is a part of my Groundhog Day craft unit:
We will then write about our predictions with our Groundhog writing craft.
If you are still looking for some groundhog day activities my Groundhog Day Craft has many different writing options and includes all of the pieces you will need!
It even comes with a blackline option incase you just want your students to color it in:
If you can’t fit it in before Groundhogs day, you could use the Dear Groundhog option as an opinion writing piece after Groundhogs day for the kids to write a letter telling the groundhog how they feel about the results from Saturday! There are so many options!
